Adsense Referral program includes Firefox payout

Google is spreading the love.. an Adsense Referral program is now operational, from which you also earn a small payment for each download of the Firefox browser incorporating the Google toolbar.

Log into your Adsense publisher account where you will see the new *Referral* tab. From here, you can select the code from the wide array of banners and graphic buttons.

You earn $100 for each new publisher you introduce to Adsense, but only once they qualify for and receive their first cheque for US$100 (ah! the fond memories of that first unattainable $100)

Each physical download of the Mozilla Firefox browser.. incorporating the Google toolbar, through your referral button will earn you $1.

At this preliminary stage, only US publishers are included in the Firefox referral program. Google Adsense plan to include international publishers shortly.

(Me thinks the new Chitika referral program might have induced the mighty G into spreading this particular wave of love.. or could there be *evil* plans for Google’s own Affiliate program ? Ouch! this could hurt companies like Commission Junction)

Referrals will be listed separately in your Adsense stats and Google defines a conversion payout as:

A conversion for Firefox occurs when a user downloads Firefox through your button and runs it for the first time. In contrast, a conversion for AdSense is counted when a user you’ve referred to AdSense has signed up and earned $100 through the program.
