Clickbank Affiliate Code to Bypass Merchant’s Sales Page

How many times have you looked at a dreary sales page and wondered if you could simply send your Adwords or PPC customers direct to the Clickbank order link? Is it even possible for that matter?
Say you find a product in the ClickBank Marketplace that is great but the sales page sucks! You can now write your own better sales letter for that product, and use a BYPASS link to drop your affiliate id (cookie). This action will send them from YOUR SALES PAGE directly to the SELLER’S ORDER PAGE!
You make the sale as an affiliate and do not have to send them to a lousy sales page.
If you haven’t gotten around to investing in a pro affiliate masking and tracking program, here’s the correct way to manually code a Clickbank affiliate link that will bypass the merchant’s page, and take the customer straight to that Clickbank order page… still crediting you with the sale.
A normal Clickbank link looks like this, where the “xxxxx” is replaced with the affiliate link, and the second part “yyyyy” is the name of the merchant:
http://xxxxx.yyyyy.hop.clickbank.net
The format for the Clickbank affiliate link is changed to the following so that you bypass the merchant page, and instead take your PPC prospects directly to the order page:
http://1.xxxxx_yyyyy.pay.clickbank.net
NOTE:
- The product number [this is usually number 1 but you'll need to double-check to see what the merchant is using - IMPORTANT!]
- xxxxx: Your ClickBank ID [must include the underscore between your Id and the Merchant's ID]
- yyyyy: The Merchant/Seller ID
Once you invest in a proper affiliate cloaking program, you can go one step further and mask your affiliate link using the above format, and still send them direct to the sales page.
Wait a minute…..
Be always sure to do a trial order to check that your affiliate code is passing through to the checkout page. Your affiliate code shows at the very bottom of the Clickbank order page.
That’s it.

When testing this, it appears to work well in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox. Have you discovered any other solutions to this problem recently?
Thanks! Nicole
You can aldo add the tracking, just add the “/?tid=YOUR_TRACKING_CODE” at the end of the link. From the tracking blog post example was “/?tid=emailtest”. Now you can even track you seperate PPC Campains because testing is so important.
Thanks for the info,

I love this trick. I use it all the time. Gets much better results.
