Marketing Defined is a website primarily set up to share my experiences in search and affiliate marketing… as a small, home business owner.
Hi! my name is Roseanne van Langenberg - a passionate believer that the internet affords even the smallest business owner to dream big by realistically setting small goals at a time, and reaching those dreams with a ludicrously small amount of capital. What you need to be liberal with, is a passion and belief that you WILL do it.. plus have a darn good marketing plan to go with it.
I am fortunate to live and work from one of Melbourne, Australia’s glorious inner beach side suburbs.
Mission Statement:
I aim to debunk the mysteries of Affiliate, Search and Niche Marketing, and help new entrepreneurs easily grasp the basics of free targeted web traffic generation. I will point you in the direction of reliable, trustworthy resources who will do exactly what they promise to do… so that your efforts with a small home business returns a healthy level of profits in the shortest possible time.
I started my earlier working years as an International Airline Attendant (a great time in my life.. travelling the globe before settling back to a career in Marketing and P.R., was just the best education a young gal could ask for)… I was first based in London and then Jordan, in the Middle East.
PERSONAL NOTE: It was while working in Jordan, that I got to meet and serve HM King Hussein, a “gentle-man” who is credited for instilling in me the sense of deep seated compassion and urgency with which I strive to contribute in some small way toward shaping a society where knowledge and learning are public goods, eagerly created and freely shared - and - not hoarded, nor withheld in order to extract wealth or influence.
Around 1999, after my son was diagnosed with an illness requiring my direct care, I had to rethink my career and a move back to full time work from a home office became necessary.
The Internet was the ideal avenue toward compounding over 10 years “offline” business experience in the fields of Marketing and P.R.
I have dedicated 6 of the past years toward gaining a sound knowledge in the fields of ONLINE Affiliate and Search marketing.
