Pingoat is a service that pings or notifies a number of services that keep track of weblogs and publish them.

By pinging, you let the services know that your blog has been updated and hence, they crawl and index your site, publishing your blog contents, thus increasing your blog’s popularity.

Pingoat not only offers a more comprehensive list of Weblog tracking services, (incorporating all of those already on the Pingomatic list), but has also included a number of Non-English services, for example in countries like Japan and Denmark…

What’s more Pingoat is lightning fast, and has never been down in all the time I have accessed their “ping” service.

Also included are specialist services including Podcasting, Audio, Geo-Tags and BlogShares, to name but a few, which complete the attractive list of tracking services offered by Pingoat.

As the Feedburner icon in our sidebar will attest, the Marketing Defined blog’s readers seem to have exploded over the “pleasing” 3,000 daily mark and Pingoat is one of the promotional tools we have used with great success.

Pingoat has an excellent list of credible RSS feed submission sites in their Resources section..

..it is recommended to take the time to submit your feed individually to each of these sites.. it will improve targeted traffic to your Blog substantially.. I am now seeing traffic in my web statistics from places in the world I did not know even existed ;-)

You can access Pingoat here — Just bookmark the URL after the first time you access the Pingoat service, and your new posts will automatically be “pinged” at the speed of lightning each time you click on the bookmark… they truly are exceptionally fast.
